The last primary School completed exam was held in 2019. No exam was held in 2020-21 due to Corona Pandemic. Finally, the primary scholarship examination is going to start again in December.

 

Although not the primary final examination, the primary scholarship examination will be held this year. The scholarship examination will be held in the last week of December in each upazila headquarters. 10 % of the total students of class (V) will be able to participate in the scholarship examination. This decision was taken in an inter-ministerial meeting recently.

 

The Directorate of Primary Education has already started preparing for this exam. The district primary education officers have been asked to collect the data of the students. The district primary education officials have been asked to inform how many centers are required to conduct the examination of 10 percent of the total students of the district. A letter has been sent to all district primary education officers with this instruction from the Directorate of Primary Education.

 

Mohammad Nazrul Islam, assistant director of the general administration branch of the department, confirmed the matter. He said that the decision to take the scholarship exam has come in the last week of December. 10 % of the total students can participate in the scholarship examination. Letters have been sent to District Primary Education Officers to send details of students and centers.

 

In the letter sent from the Directorate to the district primary education officials, it is said that on November 28, an inter-ministerial meeting was held on the alternative merit verification method for giving merit scholarship at the end of primary education. In the meeting, it was decided that the current rules and procedures will continue to give primary scholarships. This scholarship exam will be conducted in the last week of December this year. The preliminary scholarship examination will be held at each upazila headquarter.

 

The District Primary Education Officers have been asked to inform the number of students studying in Class (V) and examination centers for the smooth execution of the scholarship program. It has been asked to report the total number of students, male and female students studying in the fifth class in the district and upazila by December 6, and the number of English version students and the number of centers as 10 percent of the total students.

সর্বশেষ 2019 সালে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল প্রাথমিক সমাপনী পরীক্ষা । 2020 - 21 সালে করণা মহামারীর কারণে কোনো পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়নি. অবশেষে আবার নতুন করে প্রাথমিক বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা শুরু হতে যাচ্ছে ডিসেম্বরে ।

 

 

প্রাথমিক সমাপনী পরীক্ষা না হলেও চলতি বছর অনুষ্ঠিত হবে প্রাথমিকের বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা। ডিসেম্বর মাসের শেষ সপ্তাহে প্রতিটি উপজেলা সদরে বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। পঞ্চম শ্রেণির মোট শিক্ষার্থীর ১০ শতাংশ বৃত্তি পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিতে পারবেন। সম্প্রতি এক আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয় সভায় এ সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়েছে।

 

 

ইতোমধ্যে এ পরীক্ষা নেয়ার প্রস্তুতি শুরু করেছে প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তর। শিক্ষার্থীদের তথ্য সংগ্রহ করতে জেলা প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তাদের বলা হয়েছে। জেলার মোট শিক্ষার্থীর ১০ শতাংশ শিক্ষার্থীদের পরীক্ষা আয়োজনের কতগুলো কেন্দ্র প্রয়োজন তা জানাতে বলা হয়েছে জেলা প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তাদের। প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তর থেকে এ নির্দেশনা দিয়ে সব জেলা প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তাকে চিঠি পাঠানো হয়েছে।

 

 

অধিদপ্তরের সাধারণ প্রশাসন শাখার সহকারী পরিচালক মোহাম্মদ নজরুল ইসলাম শুক্রবার রাতে দৈনিক শিক্ষাডটকমকে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি জানিয়েছেন, ডিসেম্বর মাসের শেষ সপ্তাহে বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা নেয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত এসেছে। মোট শিক্ষার্থীর ১০ শতাংশ বৃত্তি পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিতে পারবেন। শিক্ষার্থীদের তথ্য ও কেন্দ্রের তথ্য পাঠাতে জেলা প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তাদের চিঠি পাঠানো হয়েছে।

 

 

অধিদপ্তর থেকে জেলা প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তাদের পাঠানো চিঠিতে বলা হয়েছে, গত ২৮ নভেম্বর প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনীতে মেধাবৃত্তি দেয়ার বিকল্প মেধা যাচাই পদ্ধতি নিয়ে আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয় সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সভায় বর্তমান প্রচলিত নিয়ম ও পদ্ধতিতে প্রাথমিক বৃত্তি দেয়া অব্যাহত থাকবে বলে সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়েছে। চলতি বছরের ডিসেম্বর মাসের শেষ সপ্তাহে এ বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা নেয়া হবে। প্রাথমিক বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা প্রতিটি উপজেলা সদরে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

 

বৃত্তি কার্যক্রম সুষ্ঠুভাবে সম্পাদনের জন্য পঞ্চম শ্রেণিতে অধ্যয়নরত শিক্ষার্থী ও পরীক্ষা কেন্দ্রের সংখ্যা জানাতে বলা হয়েছে জেলা প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তাদের। আগামী ৬ ডিসেম্বরের মধ্যে ইমেইলে জেলা ও উপজেলাওয়ারী পঞ্চম শ্রেণিতে অধ্যয়নরত মোট শিক্ষার্থী, ছাত্র, ছাত্রীর সংখ্যা ও ইংরেজি ভার্সনের শিক্ষার্থীদের সংখ্যা এবং মোট শিক্ষার্থীর ১০ শতাংশ হিসেবে কেন্দ্র সংখ্যা জানাতে বলা হয়েছে।
